TOUR OVERVIEW

No more than a one-and-a-half hour's drive from the capital, we´re already in the unspoiled Mongolian countryside. You will see the broad steppes with animals, steep mountainsides, and primeval poplar forests beside the river. We travel right through Terelj National Park, one of the highlights of Mongolia.

The two and three-day trips offer even more impressions. Both of them end where the river valley broadens unto the Ulan Bator plain.

No canoeing experience or exceptional fitness is required.

Aryabal Terelj National Park and mountains

Day 1. Drive to Terelj National Park

Today, we will drive to Terelj National Park, considered one of the most beautiful places worth visiting because it combines sharp mountains with granite cliffs, forests, and rivers. Once we get there, we will see the Aryabal Buddhist meditation temple.

The park looks so beautiful and peaceful from the top of the temple. We will have lunch at Terelj National Park. After that, we will ride a horse for 1 hour. Then, we drive to Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex.

After that we will drive to Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, built in 2008, on the eight-hundredth anniversary of the Mongolian Empire's foundation in honor of its founder, Chinggis Khan.

This giant stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and is 40 meters (131 feet) high; it's the tallest statue representing a man on horseback in the world. After exploring the complex, we will drive to our tourist camp. Overnight at a tourist camp.

Day 2. Kayaking day & back to the City.

This morning after having breakfast, we will kayak for 4 hours. After that we will have lunch at a tourist camp then drive back to the city. Drop you off at your hotel. End of the tour. Thank you very much for traveling with us.
